Delete your Atlerts account
This page explains how to delete your account in Atlerts, the
employee app published by Atlas Senior Living LLC, and what
happens to your information when you do.
How to delete your account
- Open Atlerts and sign in.
- Go to Menu and tap your name at the top to open your profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Enter your password to confirm it is you.
- Tap Delete account again to confirm.
This cannot be undone. Your account is deleted immediately and
you will not be able to sign in again. If you still work at Atlas and
want to come back, an administrator has to create your account again.
If you cannot sign in and still want your account deleted, write to
ATLerts@atlasseniorliving.com
from the email address on your account, or ask your administrator. We
will confirm your identity before deleting anything.
What is deleted
As soon as you confirm, we permanently delete:
- Your sign-in account, so nobody can sign in as you again.
-
Your profile: name, email address, community and job position.
-
Your profile photo, deleted from our storage — not just the
link to it.
- Your badges, poll statistics and notification settings.
-
The device tokens used to send you notifications. Your phone stops
receiving Atlerts notifications right away.
What is kept, and why
Some things are not ours alone to erase. We keep them, and we would
rather tell you than surprise you:
-
Messages you sent to other people, in one-to-one chats and in
channels. They are part of someone else's conversation, and channels
are a permanent record the whole team relies on. This works the same
way as email: deleting your mailbox does not delete the messages you
sent to other people.
-
Photos and voice notes you shared in those conversations, for
the same reason. This does not include your profile photo, which is
yours alone and is deleted.
-
A record that a deletion was requested, containing only an
internal identifier and the date. We keep it so that the nightly
staff sync does not recreate your account automatically. It contains
no name, no email address and no message content.
Your name may still appear next to messages you sent before deleting
your account, because those messages remain in other people's
conversations.
Retention
Deletion of your account and profile happens immediately, not on a
schedule. The deletion record described above is kept for as long as
the app exists, because its only purpose is to stop your account from
being recreated.
